After 9 years following in my passion, as a journalist, back in 2005 I embraced my love, the Law.
After my degree in Law School, I started to assist foreign clients, still as a junior-lawyer, and have done 2 university training courses, of 1 year each: The first in Urbanism, Planning and Environment, and a second one in Law-Contracts.
My knowledge and expertise led me to work deeper in the area of the real estate. Since then, as Lawyer, I have assisted more than 2500 clients from all over the world, from countries like USA, UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, South Africa, and many others, who have all invest in Portugal. My clients have bought property for different purposes; for a second home, a permanent move, an investment property. These have included both completed property and off-plan properties.

My office is located in the central area, next to the courthouse and town hall, in Caldas da Rainha, a medium-sized city in the heart of the Silver Coast, althougt I practice throughout the country.
The idea is to practice law with close proximity, maintaining contact with the client throughout the entire process.
There’s no need to ask for information about the progress of the case; the information arrives before you even request it!

On the other hand, understanding that a large investment outside the country of origin can generate some anxiety, special care is taken in evaluating each and every step.
For example, investing in real estate involves several essential steps, such as due diligence, including a thorough examination of all documentation, risk assessment, drafting of bilingual contracts, accompanying clients through all stages of the process, analyzing any potential problems in the condominium (if it’s a unit), payment of applicable taxes, presence at the deed of sale, etc.
Furthermore, for greater convenience, services include setting up home connections and opening a bank account, among others.
